Wholesale Lingerie Sourcing Guide

This guide explains how boutiques, distributors and online retailers can prepare a clear wholesale lingerie inquiry and compare manufacturing options.

What information should a buyer prepare?

Start with the product category, target market, estimated quantity, preferred size range, colors, packaging needs and required delivery window. Reference images help communicate the intended direction, but production details still need to be confirmed before quotation.

Ready-to-sell wholesale or private label?

Ready-to-sell products are suitable when speed and lower development effort matter most. Private-label and OEM projects are better when a buyer needs custom branding, colors, packaging or product changes. The practical route depends on quantity and construction.

How should buyers compare suppliers?

Compare product fit, material information, sample process, quality checkpoints, packaging, communication speed and export support—not price alone. Ask each supplier to state what is included in the quotation.

What happens after an inquiry?

Wuxi Ronaldo reviews the requested styles, quantity and customization requirements, then confirms available options, quotation details and the next sampling or ordering step.

Copyable lingerie sourcing inquiry template

A clear first inquiry helps a buyer compare quotations on the same basis. Copy the fields below, fill only what you know, and ask the supplier to identify any open decisions. Do not treat a reference photo as a complete production specification.

Sample approval checklist before a larger order

  1. Agree on a versioned specification and the sample’s purpose: fit review, material review, or a pre-production reference.
  2. Check size and fit against the agreed measurement chart; record proposed tolerances and any needed alterations in writing.
  3. Compare fabric, trims, colour, stitching, labels and packaging against the agreed references. Ask for the composition and care information that will actually appear on the product.
  4. Photograph or document each requested change, identify who approves the next version, and confirm whether another sample is needed.
  5. Before approving production, reconcile the final specification with the quotation, delivery window and agreed quality checks.

Starting quantity: Our stated starting order is one piece for products, samples and custom projects. The exact style, materials, customization, availability, price and timing are confirmed in an individual quotation. A one-piece sample does not by itself approve mass production or prove a product meets a destination-market rule.

Use the completed checklist when you request a B2B quotation. Keep your version and the supplier’s written answers so that revisions remain traceable.
